Hello blogger.
I did say I would see you in about a month so here I am writing 1 month and 1 day after my last post on the first of July; much of the summer has disappeared already. It's quite scary how quickly time passes.
"I know where is our summer by the way"- Amy Kyle ponders over my shoulder.
Yeah so a lot has happened but in a way it feels like nothing at all. I suppose that's what life's like though sometimes.
So since last typed the first, and hopefully not the last, best weekend of my life occurred.
Yes that is right, T in theeeeee Park 2010! Ughhh SCORE.
It was too amazing for words. On Friday we all nearly died of the walk to the campsite, I swear next year a pram or a shopping trolley is being used! My back still aches sometimes. And to think I didn't even have any drink with me. Only clothes and food (and hand sanitizer) was in my bag, so really not too much. Well anyway we went, got settled and pitched our tents. My beautiful wee pop up literally did pitch in seconds while the others dumped their stuff and worked out what way each pole went in. It was entertaining but then I went to help. Elena Danielle & a tent are not the best combination, although to be honest flinging me into the mix possibly wasn't the best idea anyone’s ever had either. But we all got there in the end. We all had a fun girly afternoon, just chatting and drinking before heading down to the arena to experience our first dose of titp. Where to start? Went to King Tuts Wah Wah tent first & saw 3OH!3, I got crushed in a crowd of what were either avatars or smurfs I can’t quite decide but my white shorts and my gorgeous titp hat were dyed blue! Along with my legs, baby wipes are a life saver at such events. After that we took a walk past the main stage and the strange Paloma Faith, she was interesting to say the least. We then headed to the NME stage to see JamieT, I didn't like it that much to be honest, didn't know much of the stuff so just kinda stood around like a spare part until the last song which everyone knew "sticks & stones". Then it was Flo + her Machine. Ughhhh I love that woman, although her eccentricity scares me, only Gaga can get away with such outfits without being frowned upon. She was amaze. Done! Then OMFG the Black Eyed Peas. Thank goodness I went and seen them rather than Muse, Will.I.am and Fergie for the win. I loved it soooooooo much!!! Thanks BEP! Went to tent then slept.
Saturday, I stayed in the pit for 11 & a half hours, no food, no pees since about two and four o'clock the day before, I swear that cannot be healthy. But there were soo many AMAZING acts that day. Newton Falkner, Paolo Nutini, EMINEM, NOT AFRAID was THEE song of TITP. There was a HMV advert that had a wee bit of the chorus played in it and the whole crowd sang along and finished the song! Every time it played which could be up to what felt like 10-20 times a day, we all sang along! It was too amazing. Eminem’s a babe! Pml.
I love Amy Kyle btw. And Miss B and Mr B would make cute babies. And with the same second name initial it's like they are a couple already. <3 Match made in heaven likes. :D
Right sooo anywhooo, back to titp. That was amazing. I loved spending Sunday night/Monday morning with my Paejy babes. She is tooooo amazing. Love her muchly. Vodka, many tents, a fun house and Chloe Geeeee all make for a good night. I cannot wait for next year. :)
So before T in the Park we had a week or so all off as a family and went out, visited and met up with family all the way over from Australia. They were so lovely. 1 day I will go and visit them.
I also turned 17 this month. That was a really nice day. I just spent it with my family and Stuart. It was so lovely, got lots of nice presents, shoes, dresses & driving lessons, the first of which was on my birthday. It was good I took it out and I didn't even stall. Although I did on my second and third lessons, but one was a stupid mistake and another was a hill start which was very tricky I must say. Apart from that the whole experience has been quite good. Enjoyable and interesting but anyway back to my birthday. I got a new Camera from my Gran&Papa too (14megapixel and 5xoptical zoom!) I was happy. From Stuart I got possibly the most gorgeous necklace and amazing perfume. Loved it and just the time he spent with me and my family. He really is amazing I don’t know what I ever done to deserve him. That night we went to the carvery for dinner, which was brilliant as I love roast beef and a lot alotta cauliflower. I was happy. :)
Last weekend was really nice. First time I had been out in a while and two nights which I really enjoyed. Friday night was Cathy’s 60th, which was a really great night. Scott certainly is something else. He is the original boy that never grew up, He makes me giggle. Well I had a good wee dance with my Mum & Dad and many others who merrily danced the night away but I can say I did enjoy myself.
Then Saturday night was Calum Harris's 18th which was an absolutely amazing night. I loved all the lassies that were there that night and Calum is one of the nicest guys I think you could ever meet. So happy to have been there because I really did have such a wonderful time. I am certainly going to miss last years 6th years though they were a good year to be honest, however much it kills me to say it, but they were. Such good times spent with some really amazing people, really gonna miss you all but I'd best stop before I fall even further into this spiral of reminisce and such. Yeah soo that pretty much summed up last weekend.
This weekend has also been absolutely brilliant. Friday night I spent a girly night in with Margaret-Anne watching Disney films and eating popcorn while catching up with Melissa. Was really nice. Saturday was amazing though (But not worth £15) Me & Stuart, Fiona, Nicole, Aimee, Melissa & Kirsten went out to the Attics Launch party where The Sunshine Underground were playing. I danced all night, took many photos, spoke to loads of new people, heard a good wee band called The Revival and made a couple of new friends, including the dearest Amy Steele who was lovely. I’m glad I met her cos now I know someone who knows the good haunt in Dunfermline. Was too good a night though and it got even better when Amy Kyle and Nicole Frazer turned up out of the blue. I screamed a lot. I was just so happy to see them both as I hadn't seen them since school broke up. Damn these holidays ruining my social life :L Was too good though. All of the people I love to bits (apart from family, Stephanie & Paej) were all in the one place dancing singing and having fun together. I really couldn't have been at all happier. One of the best night of my year so far and hopefully there are so many more to come.
Tonight I am sitting up with my Amy dearest both catching up and talking heaps of crap. Must say it is one of my favourite past times. Is too funny some of the stuff which we come out with though, "Hairy Navel," being one of them. Yes I do worry about us. Well I'm now off to go talk some more and maybe find a good film to watch, either that or eat some cold pizza. Yum.
Life is looking up right now. Might write soon depending on how my exam results look. Within the next month anyway.
Oh well ttfn. That is Tigger speak for "ta ta for now!"
Hasta luego xx
