Ahhh! I hate him and totally hate showing any sort of weakness but why does it hurt so much. Thank gosh I am at Stirling to study because if I hadn't left the shithole we call West Lothian who knows what I'd be doing now. Rant over byeeee.

Thursday 9th of June 2011

I'm going to start off this blog very un-lady-like so excuse me for my foul language but ....

HOLY SHIT
Seriously though it is 2011.
2011!
Where has the time went?
I cannot believe I have now left school and even been to prom. Everyone cried....ALOT. I haven't cried yet I think the reality of it all is yet to hit me. Yeah I'm going to miss them but it's not the end of the world, is it?
Well anyway enough about that I'll speak about prom and stuff later. I think I'll quickly summarise the first six month of this year since I completely fail at writing regular blogs.

Let me think this year alot has happened but at the same time nothing at all.
This year so far I have;
  • went to Dublin- That's right I went to Dublin! On a plane and everything. Best weekend of life, better than T in the Park I think. Couldn't have spent a weekend a weekend with more awesome people than that class, Mr McLean & Miss Louden. It was tooo funny so many quotes that I will remember for life, such as "I swear I never touched yer Mary" - Allan doesn't cope well when he can't find his Mary. "yah talkative cunt and yeh ignorant bastard!" What colourful language Laura Rodden has. All I done was turn the light on after having rolled her over to turn of "your song" which was blaring and woke us all up! I took so many photos and even videos. so many memories
  • wrote a dissertation - Aye. I wrote a dissertation. Proudest moment of life was handing that biatch into BigMac. It's not amazing but it's a dissertation none the less and to be honest I've not yet grown hateful of The Color Purple so think that is an achievement. I loved advanced English in the end. Don't know what I'm going to do not going to that class every day.
  • revised for exams- I did do ALOT in school and bits at home I should've done more but I know honestly that I've done my best so I suppose thats all I can do, ae?
  •  visited universities- Theses days out were sooooo much fun. Dundee was amazing I fell in love with the city and the Law course was possibly the best I've seen. It made me feel so passionate and realise that Law is what I want to do in my life. Then I went with Mum and Nicky to Stirling and fell in love all over again. No doubt that Dundee had the better course but Stirling is so much more practical to get to, its far enough away to live away but close enough to come home if needed. The thought of being an hour and a half or two hours away stuck in Dundee honestly killed me. It's scary enough leaving home without having a little net to fall back on. Sooooo after alot of thought I decided Stirling was for me. The campus is sooooooooo pretty, if I pass, I cannot wait to live there..
  • saw The Script - Aimee Mcmahon drove us through and I screamed sooooo much. It was too good except for at the end where i dropped chips and tomato sauce all over me and Joey! Pooor little clio! I love that car as much as its Mammy. I love nights out with Aimee they are always the best sorts of night full of goss and laughs and general banter. I miss it. Not had a proper day out in ages. We need one. Her 18th party is on Friday so that'll be gooooood. Can't wait.
  • went to peoples 18ths - Katie, Samantha, Lisa, Scott and whoever elses parties I've been to this year, thank you cos they have all been brilliant. Good fun and I love spending time with everyone. Especially out of school dancing and such, PARTYROCKANTHEM and that. Lauren Cunningham wrote that across my school shirt on the last day. "Everyday I'm Shuffling!" Yeah cos of Lauren and all these parties I am. Wooo
  • went to a funeral - I'd rather not speak of this, it's too upsetting but we need to hold our heads high and move forward. I pray for my family that they will get through these hard times.
  •  crofty... Enough said.
  •  done the race for life- Raced the race for life with the lovely GB girlies. Oh how I love they lassies. Apart from it being a good day it was a very hard day too 1 year from me loosing Gran Paterson not to mention all our thoughts being with Anne. But onto another subject before I greet like a wean...again....
  • booked my 18th - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  • completed my exams - They went not too bad, I hope, apart from when I left the Biology exam and cried hysterically because it went so awful. It'll be fine, I went over the paper and I got a couple of marks here and there so who knows.
  • cried over a boy, how silly I am . That wont happen again, I can assure you. I'm a tough cookie.
  • went to prom.

Yeah so that pretty much sums up my year soo far, well all of the major parts and that's without even mentioning the love that was prom..... So here goes

Friday was hectic to say the least. I got to get up and watch the Gilmore Girls and laze for a wee while without touching anything through fear of loosing a nail. Then I went to get my hair all put up. It took ages. Loads longer than expected so I was running very late. Never got photos taken at the house or have a wee glass of bubbly before I went out because I had about half an hour to do my make up get all dressed and make my way to the school. I nearly freaked, I felt like my eye make up was too heavy and I was gonna be late but then once I put my dress and shoes on everything felt better. I got to float down the stairs like a right princess, it was such a strange feeling.
We made our way to the school where the gates were locked so a major traffic jam had occurred with everyone one and their granny trying to park as close to the school as possible. Limos and cars where everywhere not to mention the hundred odd people with all their cameras and such. It was like the paparazzi had shown up at whitac. Soo anyway, we eventually got parked and I got loads of photos taken with everyone outside the school. It was amazing how beautiful everyone looked, even the lads scrubbed up not too bad. We looked dead grown up! It was veryveryvery weird. So ayeee anyway more photos were taken I got hugs from everyone then got into our shitty limo.... but we'll no go there... Was fun anyway blaring the tunes with Stefan looking out the window like a ginger poodle! I adore that man and the "gafro" what a legend.
Once we got to the Ramada we saw all the teachers and pretty much got on with prom. We sat at our tables ate food talked drank and danced. I could go into exesive amounts of detail about each of the heading but I am fully aware how long a rant this blog now really is soooo in a compromise I shall bullet point the key events....

  • we ate food
  • we talked
  • took many photos
  • I danced
  • I talked some more
  • I stole Scobies wrist band
  • Bought alcohol
  • Drank alcohol
  • danced more
  • talked more
  • drank more
  • took more photos
  • said sad goodbyes without any tears
  • went to hotel room
  • danced in hotel room
  • drank in hotel room
  • ate nachos
  • threw up a little
  • sobered up
  • danced more
  • chatted more
  • slept
  • lost Amy
  • looked for Amy
  • found Amy
  • went for breakfast
  • got picked up
Can't believe it's over. Six years, gone! Really where did the time go?
Couldn't have asked to spend it with a better bunch of people. I love them all and I'm gonna miss each and every one of them so so much. Don't know what I'll do next year without them all to be entirely honest but it's all good, I'll get there. I always do.

Best go. Don't know when I'll next blog. Hopefully soon as I have so much more crap to ramble on about.
Bye blogger <3

Monday 8th of November 2010

Sooo today has been a pretty average day. I got up, showered, got ready and went to school. My hair for the first time in months was sitting near perfect when I left the house then the wind blew it. Unimpressed face much. I was then late for school so I pressume Im going to get a detention soon, oh well I think I'm probs due one, oh how I hate living in Armadale. I got to school and had a wee laugh in PSE slow dancing with Amy and laughing with Allan as per usual. It was fun. Then I had study with Julie which was good too, had a wee chat about sixth year show and stuff while looking at the hills, with the snow on them! Snow already, it scares me!
So at break Amy and I sold some fruit to the teachers again and the big thing I wear hurt my neck again too.

****
Forgot to finish it! Ah well I'm not finishing now. I haven't got that good a memory! :L <3

Sunday 7th of Noember

Well this is going to be bland.
Today I slept then got up. Ate and went to work. Worked from one and got away early. Came home ate tatties and mince then watched the x-factor and Desperate Housewives while typing up some modern studies stuff. Yeah so that pretty much was the extent of my boring day.

Oh one thing interesting has happened since I last posted a blog. The Arrival of my big cousin Jamie and Donna's baby Charlize. She is the definition of beauty. Just perfect. I cannot wait to meet her.

Well that is about it. Nighty night. I shall hopefully post soon. Might get into the habit of it. I do like a nice wee bit of structure in my life, that is always good. Yup . . . Well bye. xxx

Friday 5th of November.

I HATE FIREWORK NIGHT!

Yes well as I have stated above I do in fact hate firework night. It is an awful excuse for a party! Its like a bloody war zone outside bombs, noise and flashing lights! It is horrendous. Please someone tell me one good thing about today!? Fireworks, they are pretty much bombs, explosives you can buy over the counter! Why is it allowed, it's gunpowder for fuck sake! (sorree for my swearing it just angers me) It's unbelievable and they should be illegal! It makes me sick actually. They are dangerous and have caused more injury and deaths than what would've occurred if the gunpowder plot had been successful. I can understand organised events with trained and licensed professionals but with anyone else it's ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed.
Well anyway that's just my opinion of course.

Today has actually been one of my more interesting days in life, possibly actually worth writing about.
So today we had the police in the school doing an active workshop thing with us. It was like a mock case all about terrorism which was really very good. I at least enjoyed it. Except for the fact that we kinda failed at gathering enough information on the fictional terrorist group who in turn bombed the fictional shopping centre (which was really the Trafford Centre) leaving three dead and another 200 odd injured. Hmm not the best liokes. Oooops. It okay though cos it wasn't real? Achht we fail but did enjoy the fake news conference. :)
Me and Scott had a good wee rave before hand. I loved it. Oh and the tea was fantastic. Tea in school is goood! :D

Had work which was reasonably uneventful then came home and ate some dinner. I did worry about Tibby for a while as he went missing but he sauntered back in soaked through. He was scared too. I dried him which was good. I love that cat.I'm tired now and I start early tomorrow as per usual.
So nightynight. xxxxxxxxx

Thursday the 4th of November 2010

Since I last wrote I haven't seen 1 episode of the x-factor! Instead I've been out each weekend. Now don't get me wrong I really love going out but the x-factor is really good too. lol
I do love a wee bitta Chalmers times though with the girlies. Too amazing likes. Photos, shots, peach schnapps and slightly tipsy dancing to any song that plays be it the YMCA or Kylie. Must say a wee night out is always v.enjoyable.
Didn't get head girl, mucked up my interveiw big time. But tbh even if my interview had went well I still wouldn't have got it. I was up against Katie, Betty and Laura! Three completely amazing girls. :D I'm more than sure that Katie is gonna do an fabulous job as head girl and the same goes to Laura as depute. Soo happy for them. :)

 . . . .

Well that was ages ago now and even Halloween has passed.
Which by the way was possibly one of thee best weekends of my life, and that is without exaggeration. Well all was good except for the horrendous hangover on Saturday morning. I'm telling yous I was ILL! Not fun, mind you dancing with Amy Kyle dearest and taking the most awesome of photos on the dance floor or in the Legion toilets is always a fun past time which I suppose in turn does make up for the dreadful hangover!
The Saturday nigth was spent in Chalmers with Paej and Kate, I swear I love those lassies! Such amazing fun with once again many photos, shots and random dancing lesbian kissies! (ha I joke) Well that night I ran into so many photos and took even more photos. Louise Bennie is a babe as is Rhian Lafferty, who looked stunning that night (thus won best dressed) I also saw some of my "older!" friends Like Stacey Sim, Jamie Green and Christopher Lambie! Loved it. It was just an all round happy night.
Another reason for my love of Halloween besides the excuse for excessive drinking, the slutty outfits and slightly inappropriate or offensive photos is the fact that you are able to get photos with Michael Jackson, Mr Blobby and a Penguin all in the one night! Talk about utter Class! :P

  . . . . .
School has been not too bad either setting aside the non stop chaotic rain! It does depress me, thankfully biology just makes everything better! :) I got to wear a lab coat today cos I was freezing and to be honest it was actually very cosy and I think I suited it. Yes I can infact pull of a lab coat, to bad i plan to go be a Lawyer!

Me and Stuart split up recently aswell, I was upset. I'm not gonna lie but really I've just gotta move on with my life, which I'm doing. Going out with friends and enjoying myself and in general my youth.
Life is far too short to stay upset or live with regrets so I'm doing neither and just moving on. It's just going to be singleness and my girls for a while anyway. Well my girls and my studies if I'm going to be a Lawyer.

I best be off to do some study though.
Bye, that is until the next time I remember that this blog exists.

 . . . .
P.S. Go watch Katy Perry - Firework video! It is amazing and is inspirational, I love it and her. She certainly is up there with LadyGaga :) xxxx

Monday 6th of September 2010

This weekend was really good actually. Apart from on slight hicup which shall be forgotten . . . anyways fun times likes.
Friday was busy busy! School then home for lunch then out for a drive with Dad then work. I was shattered by the end of that shift being honest. Had a nice wee chat with Donny that day. He's just awesome. Sometimes that work place of mine is not too bad. Well I got in on friday went to tesco with Mum had a late dinner and watched some tv. I know. It's not that interesting but I fair enjoyed myself.
Saturday was goooood. No work cos I was away on a trip with my GB girlies again. Louden Castle for thee win. Went on many a ride, some of which were with the wee ones. It was a sad day too though as it was my last day as a Brigader. My girlies will miss me and feel betrayed that I'm leaving them. They should forgive me eventually. From now on on a tuesday night I am a helper training to be a Basic Officer. I'm happy about that. Helping MrsS next week with P4/5 next week should be fun. Not this week though because I am away to see our Scotland dearest get beat at football by some country I've never heard of. Nahhhh I really hope they win it will be a good laugh.
So anyway Saturday night resulted in me going out with Paej. Got to the Attic, had a wee drink with her and Amanda before setting off to go see mi Stuart in The James Young. He was there with Allana and the lads so we all (bar keek) got a drink there then headed down to Chalmers. Me & Allana got in no bother but the lads were wearing trainers so were turned away ad told to get appropriate smart shoes on. The boys weren't impressed, as you can imagine, but did decide to head back to Whitburn to find everyone shoes. This left me & Allana to go have a wee drink and dance in Chalmers. Was very fun. But felt quite wrong to be dancing, drinking and wearing such inappropriate clothes in a church! But hey ho it was a fun night.
On Sunday I didn't do much. Work for a bit then home to get ready to go to the fireworks! Amy, Nicole, Dawn, Me & Stephanieeee! I love they lassies. What a lovely wee night we had. I have to say the fireworks were absolutely marvelous. I just love them.
Bye for now. I'll write soon hopefully. :)
